KYCK gives almost $25 000 to help train Ugandans

Over the 3 weekends of KYCK 2010 donations were collected to send leaders to Uganda to train the next generation of youth leaders.
The 5500 delegates at KYCK donated a combined total of $24,838.15 which easily surpassed the $15 000 target.
Raj Gupta from the team heading to Uganda was delighted with this result and is looking at how best to use this resource to support the team and the Ugandans.
next gen Uganda will take place in December 2010.

q: What was the best thing about KYCK 2010?
a: Definitely the Saturday night. I was reminded just how exciting it is to be a part of Jesus' family
q: What struck you from the talks?
a: I tend to stress a lot about school, especially with the HSC coming up. I was reminded that I don't need to worry because I can trust Jesus with tomorrow
q: What was the funniest moment at KYCK?
a: Our youth group pulled pranks on each other all weekend!
q: Why should other people to come to KYCK?
a: Because it's so great to share your faith with others and be reminded that it's not just you and your youth group but that there's lots of teenagers who follow Jesus.

a: singing praises to God with so many people

a: That life is 'hebel' - it's short and things won't last

a: Snowy and Ed teaching us to dance on Saturday morning wearing pink and green fluro lycra!

a: On Saturday night on of my friends became a Christian and I went out with her for support - that was definitely the best thing!

a: That I need to take time out of life to stop and be thankful to God because He has just given us so much

a: sleeping in the high school, staying up late and playing a big game of hide and seek!
